September 2006- Tour Dates Here are the latest dates on the Salon Kingsadore Mountain Rescue Tour. Sat 26 Aug.- label hijack - kiwi fm September 2006 Auckland Gig! Salon Kingsadore will be performing at Auckland's Stardome on 2nd September 2006 with Wellington outfit The Dukes of Leisure. This will be SK's first performance with new recruit Steven Tait on drums.
June 2006 Salon Kingsadore's music is being heavily featured in a new documentary about the World Surfing Qualifying league. You can watch the episodes on Live Target. The reviews are starting to come in for Hotel Azteca. Word on the street is that the Dominion Post liked it and gave it a four star review. Our mate Bev is sending up a copy, so we can hang it straight in the SK pool room!
Well the new album Hotel Azteca is here and is slowly getting to the stores as we speak. You can also buy it from our Sarang Bang Records store if you can't wait. New video for Economy and Space is online as well. The video explores the relationship between Economic Indicators and the Solar System.
April 2006 Greg Hodgson has just finished another stellar job with the cover art, so it looks like the second album will be ready to be sent out to the pressing plant this week. Fingers crossed the album will be back by early May. March 2006 We are heading back to Earwig this week to mix and master the final tracks on our soon to be released second album. If all goes well the album should be in stores in May. Sep 2005 Keep an eye out for a brand new SK track on the new Arch Hill complilation "Head for the Hill." The song will be the first SK track to make it out from the forthcoming new album. Feb 2005 Salon Kingsadore are in the practice room at the moment writing new material for the forthcoming album. Things are getting pretty hot in the band room, especially as the fan has broken down, but we will pull through and have the record out later this year.
